There’s a verse in the bible that goes “death and life is in the power of the tongue”, at least that’s the modern interpretation.  That philosophy is all over the Western Hemisphere in many forms.  No matter how it’s taught, it has never NOT been true!  Our mind is a powerful thing and even God himself confirms this.
